Description:

Job Title: Group Exercise Instructor (Mat Pilates, Zumba, Step, Yoga, Cardio Kickboxing, Dance, etc.)

Basic Function: A UHD Group Exercise Instructor Instructor is responsible for supporting the structure, direction, services, and programs of Sports & Fitness. This individual will be responsible for performing group fitness training with new & continuing members in various formats of physical fitness instruction.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead group fitness classes in accordance with the company's class formats and guidelines.
• Provide safe and effective exercise techniques, ensuring proper form and alignment.
• Motivate and inspire participants to achieve their fitness goals through engaging and dynamic instruction.
• Adapt class content and intensity to accommodate participants of varying fitness levels and abilities.
• Maintain a clean and organized studio space before and after classes.
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on industry trends and company policies.
• Promote upcoming classes, programs, and special events to participants.
• Build relationships and foster a sense of community among class participants.

Required Qualifications

• Current and valid certification in an area of group fitness
• CPR & First Aid Certification
• (Mat Pilates, Zumba, Step, Yoga, Cardio Kickboxing, etc.)
